Occupational safety software ginione OHS Hub:
Digitally check off occupational safety obligations

Manage occupational health (Arbeitsmedizin) and occupational safety (Arbeitssicherheit) with an intuitive software that thinks ahead and reduces your workload —without any tedious training.

Centralized documentation and automatic processing instead of a patchwork of Excel, paper, and individual solutions
For most companies in 2026, occupational safety management still means complex Excel spreadsheets for prevention register (Vorsorgekartei), a separate software tool just for training, a manually maintained first aid log, and expensive external projects for risk assessment mental health (GBU Psyche). And when it comes to risk assessment maternity (GBU Mutterschutz) often a complete lack of planning.

Prevention register (Vorsorgekartei), risk assessments, instructions: Most companies need around 30 hours of working time per month to fulfill all their occupational health and safety obligations — and often much more during the induction phase. With the OHS Hub, you can save yourself a lot of effort and receive detailed guidance.
Occupational health and safety. Automatically.
Automatically up to date
Integration with your HR system ensures that employee data is always up to date. Instead of manually transferring new hires, departures, and job changes into dozens of tools and spreadsheets, the OHS Hub synchronizes everything automatically in the background.
Automatically completed
The OHS Hub not only guides you, it actively takes work off your hands: Smart automations assign necessary precautions or instructions based on rules and send invitations independently. All you have to do is manage the results.
Automatically monitored
The central OHS overview for each employee bundles preventions, instructions, and incidents per employee. In an emergency or during audits, you have the entire history at your fingertips with just one click, ensuring legal compliance.

Smart Prevention Register (Vorsorgekartei)
The duty
Companies must maintain a complete Prevention Register (Vorsorgekartei). This means checking who requires which prevention, sending invitations on time, and — once preventions have been carried out — filing the prevention receipts. A distinction is made between mandatory prevention (the employer must ensure that the employee attends the prevention) and offer prevention (must be actively offered to the team, but each individual decides whether to participate).
The solution in the ginione OHS Hub
  • Based on data from the HR system, provisions are automatically assigned when new employees join or change jobs — and those who leave the company are documented in a legally compliant manner.
  • The software distinguishes between mandatory prevention (Pflichtvorsorge) and offer prevention (Angebotsvorsorge), sends invitations according to the prevention schedule, and provides space for the legally compliant storage of certificates.

Autonomous Risk Assessment Mental Health (GBU Psyche)
The duty
Every company must assess workplace hazards. Your occupational physician (Betriebsärzt:in) and OHS specialist (Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit) will guide you through the general risk assessments. In addition, mental health risks must also be assessed, which often requires additional projects that can be costly and time-consuming.
The solution in the ginione OHS Hub
  • You create a survey in the OHS Hub and share the link with your employees. The team completes the standardized and validated questionnaire for the Risk Assessment Mental Health digitally and fully anonymously — no account is required.
  • You will receive the evaluation in digital form after completion, along with additional recommendations for action.

Guided Risk Assessment Maternity (GBU Mutterschutz)
The duty
To protect expectant mothers and their children, the specific working conditions of the affected person must be assessed as soon as a pregnancy is reported — and if there are indications of a hazard, protective measures must be taken. In general, there is no standardized process for this, and the occupational physician usually has to be involved and assigned separately for each pregnancy.
The solution in the ginione OHS Hub
  • You centrally document reported pregnancies and breastfeeding periods.
  • You then answer a simple questionnaire about the working conditions of the person concerned—and only if there are signs of danger are further steps and, if necessary, additional counseling required.

Complete instructions (Unterweisungen)
The duty
Employees must receive regular training on topics relevant to occupational safety. The implementation and participation must be documented and archived beyond doubt in order to withstand audits.
The solution in the ginione OHS Hub
  • The OHS Hub automatically assigns the relevant training based on information from the HRIS.
  • The team completes training digitally, and the system checks it off as completed. No chasing after people, no collecting signatures on paper.

Digital First Aid Log
The duty
Every first aid treatment in the workplace must be documented. However, traditional first aid logbooks in boxes often pose a problem for data protection, as everyone can read the entries made by others. In addition, the logbook is often not where it is needed, and in the event of an accident, it can disappear completely—a nightmare when it comes to dealing with accident insurance.
The solution in the ginione OHS Hub
  • Affected employees can discreetly and quickly document what happened themselves via smartphone or desktop — all they need is a link or QR code to your digital first aid log.
  • All entries flow directly into your central dashboard — legally compliant, discreet, and accessible to you at any time.

Frequently Asked Questions
Here you will find answers to the most frequently asked questions about data protection, testing, introduction, and functions of ginione.

With ginione, you can set up your occupational safety system in no time at all, ready for inspection. With our all-in-one package, which combines basic OHS supervision (Grundbetreuung) personal consultation, and software, you get a direct overview of your obligations and can quickly work through them — including legally compliant documentation.

Do you have an occupational safety audit coming up soon? Or would you like to implement the topic as quickly as possible so that you have time for other tasks again? No problem. From the initial consultation to the finished setup, it usually takes us less than a week.

No, our offer is specifically aimed at non-experts. Thanks to personal advice and the OHS Hub, you can safely fulfill your obligations even without specialist knowledge: our software helps you with a user-friendly interface, clear workflows, and smart automation, and your personal contact person will assist you with any technical questions.

ginione is primarily designed for companies that want to quickly organize their occupational safety in an audit-proof manner — without you having to become an expert yourself first. We show you step by step what is necessary, and with our all-in-one package (software + basic OHS supervision of our sister companies in the Arsipa Group), we offer all the building blocks you need to fulfill your obligations quickly and easily.

Occupational health and safety is complex and cannot be calculated uniformly — the final costs always depend on the specific circumstances of your company. Many providers of basic OHS supervision initially offer very low-priced packages that cover only the absolute minimum. After the contract is signed, additional costs for other legal obligations gradually arise. With ginione’s personal consultation, you receive an early overview of costs for software, basic OHS supervision, and any other potential expenses — transparent and predictable.

ginione is the new brand name for Bloom – because ginione is now part of ginisuite, the Arsipa Group's software product portfolio. The Bloom OHS Hub is now called ginione OHS Hub, while the Employee Assistance Program will retain its previous name, Bloom EAP, for the time being. The team remains the same, and we are continuing to develop our software and services!

The ginione OHS Hub is GDPR-compliant and adheres to industry-leading standards for data protection and security. It runs on servers in German, ISO-certified data centers operated by Hetzner, and all data transport is encrypted with TLS. Access to data in your HR system is via an ISO-certified interface.

The ginione OHS Hub offers seamless integration through interfaces to popular HR systems such as Workday, Personio, HeavenHR, BambooHR, HiBob, and over 200 other HRIS. The necessary data for your employees is imported into the ginione OHS Hub on a daily basis. To do this, we use Kombo, a unified API provider with ISO certification, which ensures that the interface always works and data is transferred securely, even if there are technical changes to your system.

You can also use the ginione OHS Hub if you already have a provider for basic OHS supervision. Not satisfied with your current provider? In that case, a switch can make sense! Many companies stick with their provider out of habit — even when they experience unclear structures, limited transparency, or insufficient guidance. ginione guides you through the provider change.

Note: If your trust has been seriously breached, you also have the option to terminate your contract prematurely within the contract period. ginione is happy to advise you.

Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) refers to all organizational, technical, and medical measures that protect and promote the safety and health of employees at work. OHS management software helps you organize these measures digitally. This includes risk assessments, training, incident management, deadline monitoring, and necessary documentation. The goal is to implement legal requirements in accordance with the ArbSchG, DGUV, and ASiG in an efficient, traceable, and secure manner.

Audit-proof occupational health and safety means that you are prepared at all times for visits from inspection authorities such as the Berufsgenossenschaft (BG/VBG) or the Office for Occupational Health and Safety. These authorities carry out spot checks to ensure that companies are complying with their duty of care in accordance with the law. The focus is often on the following areas:

  • Basic OHS supervision (Grundbetreuung)Have you appointed an occupational physician and an OHS specialist?
  • Organization:Are occupational safety committee (ASA) meetings held and documented regularly?
  • Prevention:Are risk assessments up to date and is the Prevention Register maintained without gaps?
  • Team readiness: Are enough fire safety officers and first aiders appointed and trained? Are the necessary Instructions documented?

Yes. The law does not differentiate between construction sites, offices, and desks in the living room. Risk assessments and prevention must also be documented for screen-based workstations and home office environments. ginione is specifically optimized for the modern working world and supports you in meeting these requirements.

Don't worry, the technical vocabulary used in occupational safety is more confusing than the issues themselves:

  • OccupationalHealth and Safety(OHS):This is the umbrella term for all measures that protect the safety and health of your team at work. In German, this is referred to asArbeitsschutz(hence the name OHS Hub).
  • Occupational Health (Arbeitsmedizin) :Both terms mean the same thing. They refer to the medical aspects covered by an occupational physician (Betriebsärzt:in) (e.g., preventive care or advice on ergonomics).
  • Occupational Safety (Arbeitssicherheit) FaSi, and SiFa:This is the technical side of occupational safety. It's about preventing accidents and hazards in the workplace. FaSi and SiFa are two abbreviations for the same job: occupational safety specialist. They advise you on all technical and organizational safety issues.

Occupational health and safety in Germany is governed by a strict set of rules designed to ensure that every team works safely. The two most important pillars you need to know about are:

  • ASiG (Occupational Safety Act):This law is your "basic law" in occupational safety. It requires every company —regardless of size— to appoint experts (occupational physician (Betriebsärzt:in) and occupational safety specialist (Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit) for consultation.
  • DGUV Regulation 2:While the law regulates the "what," this accident insurance regulation clarifies the "how much." It calculates how many hours these experts must support you per year based on your number of employees and industry. This is called basic OHS supervision (Grundbetreuung).

Compliance with these requirements is checked at random by the employers' liability insurance associations (e.g., VBG) or the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.

An Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a company support service that helps employees cope with work-related and personal stress. As an EAP for companies, we provide structured, professional, and confidential support to promote mental health. Use of the program is voluntary, confidential, and independent of the employer.

Our EAP provides support for a wide range of issues that can affect health, well-being, and everyday working life. These include stress, overload, burnout, anxiety, sleep problems, psychosomatic complaints, personal worries, career or leadership issues, and topics related to mental and physical health.

Yes, confidentiality is the basis of the EAP. Employers cannot view the content of conversations, appointments, or personal information. Companies only receive anonymized, aggregated evaluations that do not allow conclusions to be drawn about individual persons.

The EAP is open to all employees of the company. Depending on the structure, managers or specific target groups may also be included. Use of the program is voluntary at all times and does not require approval from supervisors.

Employees can book appointments at short notice and usually gain access to professional counseling within a short period of time. The goal of the EAP is to provide fast, low-threshold support without long waiting times.

Yes. ginione meets the highest data protection and security requirements. The software is GDPR-compliant, uses secure data transmission, a strict role and rights concept, and certified infrastructure to protect sensitive information.

Our EAP is suitable for companies that want to offer their employees low-threshold, professional support and promote mental health in the long term, regardless of industry or company size.
